PS2 WE09 Championship 2 - Update!!!

There are few updates in this tournament made by the organizer; Monster Crew. Details of the updates are as follows:-

Bring 5 of your friends and/or family to join the tournament and we give you 1 slot for FREE!!
Bring 8 of your friends and/or family to join the tournament and we give you 2 slot for FREE!!

Registration/Ballot Time:
Starting 11.30 am - 12.30 pm (ongoing walk in until reach maximum slots/timeframe)

From the previous championship, many gamers register but didn't show up. We found out most of the reason is "bangun lambat" and thought that when they missed the registration time allocated, they cannot enter anymore.

So in order to overcome this problem, we decided to start the registration/ballot time a bit late as stated above and extend the ongoing walk in registration until it reach maximum slots/timeframe.

But please bear in mind that the ballot process is only valid to those who register during the allocated timeframe on first come first serve basis. Gamers who come later will be slotted in any group available.

Game Start:
Starting 1.00 pm until end

We will start the qualifying with whatever group available and continue with the walk in group until the end

Prizes:
Champion: RM 1,000
2nd Place: RM 400
3rd Place: RM 300
4th Place: RM 100
5th - 8th Places: RM50

Due to some reason, organizer have to reduce the prize money a little bit (even you won't notice it at first sight) but the the prize money for champion remain unchanged;RM1,000.

Slots:
Unlimited slots per person in all qualifying
Maximum 2 slots per person in Championship Final
Maximum 1 slots per person in Championship Grand Final

Game Format:
Qualifying Rounds
1. Round robin 1
- Divided into up to 16 group
- 4 gamers in a group
- Top 2 of each group will qualify to next round
2. Round robin 2
- Divided into up to 8 group
- 4 gamers in a group
- Top 2 of each group will qualify to next round or Final
3. Knock Out (may or may not happen)
- Up to 16 gamers will battle in knock out
- Top 8 will qualify to Final

Final
1. Round robin 1
- 32 finalist will be divided into 8 group
- 4 gamers in a group
- Top 2 of each group will qualify to next round
2. Round robin 2
- Divided into up to 4 group
- 4 gamers in a group
- Top 2 of each group will qualify to next round
3. Knock Out
- Up to 8 gamers will battle in quarter final
- Top 4 will battle in semi final
- Top 2 winners will battle in Final for Champion & 2nd Place
- Top 2 losers will battle in for 3rd & 2nd Places

Group Score Calculation:

1. Win : 3 points
2. Draw : 1 points
3. Lose: 0 points
4. If points tied between gamers, the following rules applied in order:-
- Goal difference (score goal minus away goal)
- Goal score
- Goal away
- Rematch

Rules & Regulations:

2. Gamers are allowed to bring their own memory card (for FORMATION purpose ONLY) and can only hook it up to the PS2 during formation setting stage.

There are few gamers make "noise" on this rules. We would like to announce again that we allowed gamers to bring their own memory card for FORMATION purpose only and only can hook up the memory card to the PS2 only during formation setting stage.
