PS2 WE09 Championship 2 - Update!!!

There are few updates in this tournament made by the organizer; Monster Crew. Details of the updates are as follows:-

Bring 5 of your friends and/or family to join the tournament and we give you 1 slot for FREE!!
Bring 8 of your friends and/or family to join the tournament and we give you 2 slot for FREE!!

Registration/Ballot Time:
Starting 11.30 am - 12.30 pm (ongoing walk in until reach maximum slots/timeframe)

From the previous championship, many gamers register but didn't show up. We found out most of the reason is "bangun lambat" and thought that when they missed the registration time allocated, they cannot enter anymore.

So in order to overcome this problem, we decided to start the registration/ballot time a bit late as stated above and extend the ongoing walk in registration until it reach maximum slots/timeframe.

But please bear in mind that the ballot process is only valid to those who register during the allocated timeframe on first come first serve basis. Gamers who come later will be slotted in any group available.

Game Start:
Starting 1.00 pm until end

We will start the qualifying with whatever group available and continue with the walk in group until the end

Prizes:
Champion: RM 1,000
2nd Place: RM 400
3rd Place: RM 300
4th Place: RM 100
5th - 8th Places: RM50

Due to some reason, organizer have to reduce the prize money a little bit (even you won't notice it at first sight) but the the prize money for champion remain unchanged;RM1,000.

Slots:
Unlimited slots per person in all qualifying
Maximum 2 slots per person in Championship Final
Maximum 1 slots per person in Championship Grand Final

Game Format:
Qualifying Rounds
1. Round robin 1
- Divided into up to 16 group
- 4 gamers in a group
- Top 2 of each group will qualify to next round
2. Round robin 2
- Divided into up to 8 group
- 4 gamers in a group
- Top 2 of each group will qualify to next round or Final
3. Knock Out (may or may not happen)
- Up to 16 gamers will battle in knock out
- Top 8 will qualify to Final

Final
1. Round robin 1
- 32 finalist will be divided into 8 group
- 4 gamers in a group
- Top 2 of each group will qualify to next round
2. Round robin 2
- Divided into up to 4 group
- 4 gamers in a group
- Top 2 of each group will qualify to next round
3. Knock Out
- Up to 8 gamers will battle in quarter final
- Top 4 will battle in semi final
- Top 2 winners will battle in Final for Champion & 2nd Place
- Top 2 losers will battle in for 3rd & 2nd Places

Group Score Calculation:

1. Win : 3 points
2. Draw : 1 points
3. Lose: 0 points
4. If points tied between gamers, the following rules applied in order:-
- Goal difference (score goal minus away goal)
- Goal score
- Goal away
- Rematch

Rules & Regulations:

2. Gamers are allowed to bring their own memory card (for FORMATION purpose ONLY) and can only hook it up to the PS2 during formation setting stage.

There are few gamers make "noise" on this rules. We would like to announce again that we allowed gamers to bring their own memory card for FORMATION purpose only and only can hook up the memory card to the PS2 only during formation setting stage.

PS2 WE09 Championship 1 - FINAL!!!

Semalam, Ahad, 31 Mei 2009, seramai 32 gamers yang layak dari 4 peringkat saringan berentap untuk muncul johan edisi pertama dari keseluruhan pertandingan ini.

Setelah cabutan undi dilakukan, 32 gamers dibahagikan di dalam 8 kumpulan dan bermain secara round robin. Johan dan naib johan setiap kumpulan berjumlah 16 orang gamers semuanya mara ke pusingan berikutnya dan dibahagikan kepada 4 kumpulan dan sekali lagi bermain secara round robin.

Setelah melalui perlawanan yang sengit, akhirnya johan dan naib johan setiap kumpulan berjumlah 8 orang gamers semuanya mara ke pusingan suku akhir - pusingan kalah mati.

Di dalam peringkat suku akhir ini, 2 orang gamers telah berjaya melayakkan kedua2 slot mereka iaitu Air Fee dan juga Nom3y. Dalam pusingan kalah mati ini, selepas undian dilakukan, carta perlawanan adalah seperti berikut:-

Suku Akhir

Air Fee vs Fit3 = Fit3 layak ke separuh akhir
El Nino vs Shige = Shige layak ke separuh akhir

Air Fee vs Nom3y = Nom3y layak ke separuh akhir

Dewat vs Nom3y = Dewat layak ke separuh akhir

Separuh Akhir

Fit3 vs Shige = Shige layak ke peringkat akhir
Nom3y vs Dewat = Dewat layak ke peringkat akhir

Perlawanan diantara Shige dan Fit3 berlangsung sengit dimana Shige mendahului dengan 1-0 diawal permainan. Fit3 banyak melepaskan dan memsia2kan peluang untuk menjaringkan gol. Dalam separuh masa kedua, Fit3 berjaya menjadikan kedudukan 1-1 tetapi Shige berjaya menjadikan kedudukan 2-1 selang beberapa minit kemudian dah berjaya menahan asakan Fit3 dan mengekalkan kedudukan sehingga wisel penamat.

Perlawanan diantara Dewat dan Nom3y juga berlangsung sengit dengan Nom3y berazam untuk menebus kekalahanya kepada Dewat di peringkat suku akhir. Setelah bertarung selama 10 minit, Nom3y akhirnya terpaksa akur juga dengan kehebatan Dewat dan tewas buat kali kedua dan memberi laluan kepada Dewat ke perlawanan akhir bertemu Shige.

Shige berjaya menewaskan Dewat dengan jaringan 2-1 untuk muncul sebagai johan edisi pertama Monster Crew's PS2 WE09 Championship. Dengan ini juga, secara automatiknya, Shige dan Dewat telah menempah tempat ke peringkat akhir Championship Grand Final yang akan berlangsung pada 6 Disember 2009

Tahniah diucapkan kepada semua pemenang dan juga semua yang mengambil bahagian. Kepada yang kurang bernasib baik pada kali ini, anda semua boleh cuba lagi pada championship2 berikutnya.

Championship 2 akan bermula pada hari Ahad, 7 Jun 2009. Semua dijemput hadir. Kepada pemenang 4 tempat teratas Championship 1; Shige, Dewat, Nom3y dan Fit3, anda semua dilarang menyertai Championship 2 dan hanya boleh menyertai kembali di Championship 3 dan/atau Championship 4.

Monster Crew's Playstation 2 Winning Eleven 2009 Championship

Pertandingan PS2 ini dianjurkan oleh Monster Crew dan disokong oleh Games Monster dan Play-Beyond.Net.

Tujuan pertandingan ini diadakan adalah sebagai platform kepada gamers2 console untuk bersaing secara sihat dan juga sebagai mengisi masa lapang mereka dengan perkara yang berfaedah selain dapat menambahkan pendapatan!!

Pertandingan ini terbahagi kepada 2 iaitu Championship dan Championship Grand Final dimana 4 Championship yang berlangsung adalah sebagai saringan kepada Championship Grand Final yang akan diadakan pada hujung tahun ini.

Hadiah2 untuk Championship adalah seperti berikut:-

Johan: RM 1,000
Naib Johan: RM 600
Ke-3: RM 400
Ke-4: RM 200
Ke-5 hingga Ke-8: RM50

Setiap peserta dibenarkan mendaftar seberapa banyak slot untuk setiap saringan Championship dengan bayaran sebanyak RM20 setiap slot seorang. Walau bagaimanapun, setiap peserta hanya dibenarkan bertanding dengan 2 slot sahaja untuk peringkat akhir.

Setiap pemenang 4 tempat teratas bagi setiap Championship akan dilarang dari menyertai Championship berikutnya (cooling off period) dan hanya boleh menyertai pertandingan selepasnya.

Johan dan Naib Johan bagi setiap Championship juga akan layak secara automatik ke pusingan Championship Grand Final dan hanya 1 slot sahaja dibenarkan untuk setiap peserta.

The objective of this tournament is as a platform to the console gamers to compete in a healthy way of each other and also to fill their leisure time with something good and at the same time they can earn some money.

The tournament is separated into 2 which is the Championship (4 of them) and the Championship Grand Final (which will be held at the end of this year)

Every participants can register as many slot(s) that they want during the qualifying with entrance fee of RM20 per slot per person. However, only 2 slots are allowed for each participant in the final

The top 4 from every Championship will be barred to participate in the next Championship (cooling off period) but allowed to participate in the next after Championship.

Top 2 from each Championship will automatically qualified to the Championship Grand Final but allowed for 1 slot only for each participant.
